How Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson got into the Fox deal
The Fox deal comes a few months after Jackson left a previous deal with Starz, which he had called “dumb shit” in the period before the arrangement’s termination. Due to the Fox agreement’s non-exclusive nature, he is also free to seek out other producing opportunities (he continues to serve as executive producer of the premium cabler’s Power series and BMF).
“Whether it’s music, film, or television, Curtis always delivers premium entertainment that captivates millions of fans across the world,” said Thorn, Fox’s entertainment president. He is a rare multihyphenate with a delicate touch at narrative in any format or media, and we look forward to working with him and his team to develop new and interesting shows for Fox.”
