The media industry like any other goes through changes. Many times the reporters and news anchors sometimes change the organizations they work for.
Changes in work happen due to economic situations, search greener pastures, new bigger opportunities, and cases of layoffs new appointments.

Akisa Wandera

Akisa has made her name in our Kenyan media society but has been porched by BBC Africa.
She has been a host for the Prime Time segment at KTN after joining Standard group media in 2016.
Before joining KTN, Akisa has worked at GBS TV and Ebru tv in 2014, which ushered her into a media career.
Charles Gitonga
He was a former reporter for the Kenyan Television Network, and he is the latest Kenyan media personality to be porched by BBC.
Gitonga joins BBC Africa Business as the senior business reporter for the organization.
Grace Kuria

Before joining the BBC in September 2021, Grace worked as a news anchor at Chinese Broadcaster CGTN immediately after leaving KTN.
She announced her departure from KTN on the live bulletin.
Victor kiprop

Kiprop had gone to greater heights at NTV as a news anchor after bidding his fans goodbye after a three-year stint.
BBC appointed him as a news anchor a day later.
Anita Nkonge

She was a celebrated NTV reporter but quit in august 2021 after serving at NTV for three years.
A few days later, she was hired by BBC as their new Youth Reporter.
Dorcas Wangira
She was a news reporter at citizen TV when BBC absorbed her as a broadcaster at their health reporting team.
Dorcas had been in the media industry for long after joining Standard Media Group PLC as an intern reporter and was absorbed as a news correspondent.

Ian Wafula

BBC fully absorbed him into the fact-checking show, but now he is a BBC broadcast journalist.
Wafula’s media career has been long; he started as an intern reporter in KTN, where he covered the Westgate attack, which was his first live report.
He has also done investigative stories by media personality Allan Namu. He worked as a morning show host at K24 TV in 2015.
