‘Calm Down’ by Rema earns Gold certification in Italy

Nigerian afrobeat star Rema, recorded another milestone after his single ” Calm down”  earned a Gold certification after selling over 25,000 copies in Italy.

He released the song in March 2022 as the lead single from her debut album ‘Raves & Roses’.

In addition to its wide acclaim, the single was remixed by Selena Gomez.

‘Calm Down’ first earned Gold certifications in Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands before getting it in Italy. In the UK, it was awarded a Silver certification, and in France, a Diamond certification.

The song received widespread praise as it debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached the top 10 of the UK singles chart, peaking at number 74.

Following his performance at London’s Brixton Arena, Rema disclosed that the well-known song has received more than 1 billion streams across all music platforms.
