Who is Takeoff? Migos band member who was shot dead

The news of the shooting to death of Takeoff a member of the trio boy group Migos today in Houston is shocking. The Migos group comprised three boys Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff.

Regarding his death. The information is that Takeoff and his uncle and band member  Quavo were there playing dice when an altercation broke out and that’s when someone opened fire, shooting Takeoff. It was either in the head or near his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Early life

His real Kirshnik Khari Ball was born on 18 JUNE 1994. He was currently 28 years old. Takeoff was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia, United States to his mother Edna Marshal.

His stage name Takeoff mostly knew him. And he was an American Rapper who was in a music group with his uncle Quavo and his first cousin Offset.

family life

Takeoff has one sibling who has been featured in one of his songs with. He is called YRN Lingo and Takeoff was very close to him. Takeoff has had one relationship that was in the limelight and he was dating Liyah Jade but they ended the relationship in 2021.

Until his death takeoff had never announced that he had kids.\


Takeoff officially began his music career with his family, members Quavo and Offset in 2008. The trio is now officially known as Migos after changing it from Polo Club their initial name. His first work with the group was a mixtape titled Juug season in 2011 and another mixtape No Label in 2012.


He was thrust into fame when the Migos group released the song, Versace. The song was number 99 on the Billboard hot 100 and 31 on Hot R$b HipHop songs chart.

They debuted a studio album Yung Rich Nation in 2015 where they featured Young Thug, Chris Brown. The album was a success as it peaked at position 17 on the Billboard 200.

In 2016 the Migos group produced the song Bad and Boujee featuring Lil Uzi Vert and this was the single that trusted them into stardom. The song peaked on the billboard 100 in January 2017. The song is also certified four times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Just like any other rapper in the game. Takeoff has had trouble with the police department.

In 2020–2021 he faced Sexual assault allegations

On August 5, 2020, news broke that Takeoff was named as the perpetrator in a civil lawsuit filed by a female victim. The charges were “sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, gender violence, and interference with civil rights” at a Los Angeles party. The case was still with the police prior to his death.

In 2017 an incident with the Atlanta flight

On July 7, 2017, Takeoff was asked to be taken off a Delta Air Lines flight prior to takeoff from Atlanta to Des Moines, Iowa, after he reportedly refused to move his bag from the floor to an overhead storage bin.

Georgia Southern University

In 2015 Migos group was to perform at Georgia Southern University and they went against all protocols.

They arrived; late for the event almost an hour and a half later. They were booked for 45 minutes but the Migos group performed for less than 30 minutes. The trio was arrested for carrying firearms and possession of marijuana on school property.
